Further first aid training has been successfully conducted in the village of Lokhim.  16 teachers and 2 School Management Committee members actively participated in the sessions that included topics such as the concept of first aid, patient assessment, vital signs, respiratory problems, unconsciousness, bleeding and shock, cuts and wounds, splints and bandages, burns, poisoning, eye screening, dental hygiene, and first aid kit distribution.
In the remote mountain villages of Nepal where access to healthcare facilities is limited, the ability to respond to accidents and emergencies is even more significant, as such CITC supports teachers to build their confidence in basic but vital first aid skills.

£30 can provide a first aid kit for a school in rural Nepal
