Thanks to your incredible generosity, we have not only met but exceeded our Β£2,500 target β securing all the Big Give's match funding, bringing the total to over Β£5,600! This will provide much needed funding for 1,500 girls in rural Nepal to receive eco-friendly, reusable menstrual health kits and vital menstrual health education. πβ¨
These kits, crafted by local CITC female sewers, and the training provided will help empower these girls to stay in school and achieve their full potential!

πWe're very excited to let you know that CITC has been selected to participate in The Big Give's 'Women and Girls Match Fund' campaign running Midday 10th - 17th Octoberπ
πͺ Help us reach our target of Β£2,500 which will be DOUBLED to Β£5,000 through Big Give's match funding to support 1,500 girls through CITC's menstrual health programme! π
π Situation: Inadequate menstrual health education and management prevents girls from fulfilling their learning potential in rural Nepal. Social stigmas, lack of education, and poor sanitation are barriers π«. Many girls feel embarrassed, uncomfortable, and miss school due to fear of leakage and poor hygiene facilities.
π― Our Campaign: Helping empower girls to achieve their full learning potential by providing re-usable, eco-friendly menstrual health kits to 1,500 girls across 15 schools πβ¨. These quality kits will be sourced from CITC's established local female sewers π©βπΎ and distributed alongside menstrual health training conducted by CITC-trained teachers π«.
